Synopsis – What to Expect from “Point Blank”

Point Blank is a 1967 American neo-noir crime film directed by John Boorman and starring Lee Marvin as Walker, a professional criminal who is double-crossed by his partner and left for dead.

The film begins with Walker, a professional criminal, and his partner Mal Reese (John Vernon) robbing a major Los Angeles bank. After the heist, Mal double-crosses Walker, shooting him in the shoulder and leaving him for dead. Through sheer determination, Walker survives and sets out to exact revenge.

Walker begins by tracking down Mal and his girlfriend, Lynne (Angie Dickinson). He confronts them at their hideout, a secluded house in the desert, but is unable to get any information from them. He then sets out for the city of Alcatraz, where he believes Mal has taken the stolen money.

At Alcatraz, Walker meets up with a mysterious figure known as Yost (Keenan Wynn) who helps him track down Mal. However, it soon becomes clear that Yost is in league with Mal, and Walker is set up for a trap. Walker narrowly escapes and follows Yost to a secret hideout, where he learns that the money is being held by a powerful crime syndicate.

Walker then infiltrates the syndicate’s headquarters and is able to locate the money. He then sets out to confront Mal and the syndicate’s leader, Reese (Lonny Chapman). After
