Bad Day at Black Rock is a 1955 American western mystery film directed by John Sturges and starring Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, Anne Francis, Dean Jagger, Walter Brennan, Ernest Borgnine, and Lee Marvin.
The film centers on a mysterious stranger, John Macreedy (Tracy), who arrives in the small desert town of Black Rock. Macreedy is searching for a Japanese-American man named Komoko, who he believes is living in the area.
