Synopsis/Plot
Stepmom is a 1998 drama film starring Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, and Ed Harris. The film follows the story of Jackie and Luke, a divorced couple struggling to adjust to the new reality of their lives. Jackie is a successful businesswoman who is trying to adjust to her new role as a stepmother to Luke’s two children, Anna and Ben. She is also trying to balance her own career and the demands of her new family. Meanwhile, Luke is trying to deal with his ex-wife’s presence in his life and the fact that he now has to share his children with her.
The film follows the struggles of Jackie and Luke as they try to make their new family work.
