Synopsis – What to Expect from “Kids in Love”
Kids in Love is a coming-of-age drama about a wealthy, privileged young man named Jack (Will Poulter) who is living in London and is in the midst of a quarter-life crisis. He is struggling to find his place in the world and has become increasingly disconnected from his parents and their expectations.
One night, Jack meets a free-spirited girl named Evelyn (Alma Jodorowsky) and they quickly become friends. They spend the summer partying, exploring the city, and falling in love. Along the way, Jack begins to realize that life isn’t all about money and status and he begins to learn more about himself and his place in the world.
At the same time, Jack’s parents are pressuring him to return to university and pursue a more traditional path. But Jack is determined to follow his own path and make his own decisions. He has to decide whether to stay in London with Evelyn or return to university and his old life.
The movie follows Jack’s journey as he learns to make his own decisions and discovers what it really means to be an adult. It’s a story of love, friendship, and self-discovery that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt lost in the world.
