Synopsis/Plot
The Novice is a gripping psychological thriller about a young man’s struggle with his own inner demons. When a young man named John (played by Justin Bradley) moves to a new town, he quickly finds himself in over his head. He quickly discovers that the town is run by a powerful crime boss, and he is soon recruited to work for the mob. Despite his better judgment, John soon finds himself deeply entrenched in the criminal underworld.
As John’s involvement with the mob increases, he begins to lose his grip on reality. He starts to struggle with his own inner demons and is haunted by visions of his past. He also finds himself struggling with his own morality as he is forced to make difficult decisions in order to survive.
