Synopsis/Plot

The plot follows a family of four, Adelaide Wilson (Nyong’o), her husband Gabe (Duke), their daughter Zora (Shahadi Wright Joseph) and son Jason (Evan Alex), who take a summer vacation to Adelaide’s childhood home in Santa Cruz. However, their holiday is disrupted when four doppelgängers of the family arrive, the Tethered, who are determined to take their place in the world.
