Synopsis/Plot
Ultraviolet is a 2006 science fiction action film starring Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright, and Nick Chinlund. The film takes place in the future, where a virus has infected the human race, causing them to develop superhuman powers. In order to protect humanity from these “hemophages”, a special police force known as the “Ultraviolets” is formed.
The story follows Violet (Jovovich), a member of the Ultraviolets, as she attempts to protect a young boy named Six (Bright) from the clutches of the government. She discovers that Six is the key to a cure for the virus, and is determined to protect him at all costs. As she and her team of Ultraviolets battle their way through the government’s forces, Violet must also confront her own inner demons in order to save Six and the future of humanity.
The film features intense action sequences, special effects, and breathtaking visuals, as well as an engaging story that explores themes of identity, loyalty, and morality. With its strong performances, stunning visuals, and thought-provoking themes, Ultraviolet is an exciting and entertaining sci-fi action adventure.
