Synopsis/Plot
Surrogates is a 2009 science fiction action film starring Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, and Rosamund Pike. The film is set in a future where people live their lives through robotic surrogates, robotic versions of themselves that they control remotely. The surrogates are designed to look and act like their human counterpart, and are used to interact with the outside world.
The story follows FBI agent Tom Greer (Willis) as he investigates the murder of a man who was killed while controlling his surrogate. As Tom delves deeper into the case, he discovers a conspiracy involving the surrogates and a group of people who want to control them.
Tom soon finds himself in a race against time to save humanity from a future where people no longer live their own lives, but instead rely on their surrogates to do everything for them.
The film is an action-packed, sci-fi thriller that explores the idea of technology taking over our lives. It is a thought-provoking look at the potential dangers of technology and how it can be used to control people. With an all-star cast and a gripping story, Surrogates is an entertaining and thought-provoking film.
