Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Pick-up Artist”
The Pick-Up Artist is a 1987 romantic comedy starring Robert Downey Jr. and Molly Ringwald.
The story follows Jack Jericho (Downey Jr.), a womanizing, charm-school dropout who is determined to become the perfect ladies man. With the help of his best friend, Tommy (Danny Aiello), Jack enrolls in a pick-up artist school to learn the art of seduction.
At the school, Jack meets the mysterious and beautiful Randy Jensen (Ringwald). Despite her initial reluctance, Randy eventually agrees to help Jack with his mission. With her help, Jack begins to learn the tricks of the trade, and he soon finds himself becoming more successful with women than he ever imagined.
