Heart and Souls is a 1993 American fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Ron Underwood and starring Robert Downey Jr., Charles Grodin, Kyra Sedgwick, Tom Sizemore, Elisabeth Shue, and Alfre Woodard.
The film follows the story of four souls who become intertwined with the life of a young boy named Thomas Reilly (Robert Downey Jr.). As a baby, Thomas was visited by the four souls, each of whom had died in a car accident. They had been sent to Earth to fulfill their unfinished business, but they were unable to do so and were instead stuck in limbo. Thomas is the only one who can see and hear them, and they become his invisible friends and guardians.
As Thomas grows up, the four souls continue to follow him and provide guidance. They help him make important decisions, protect him from danger, and teach him life lessons. When Thomas is an adult, the four souls are still with him and help him to find his true love, Julia (Kyra Sedgwick).
However, the four souls are still unable to fulfill their unfinished business, and they are running out of time. Thomas must figure out a way to help them before it’s too late. With the help of his friends, Thomas embarks on a journey to discover the truth about the four souls and to help them complete their mission.
