Synopsis/Plot
The Wild is a 2006 computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by Steve “Spaz” Williams and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and the Canadian animation studio C.O.R.E. Feature Animation. The film follows Ryan, a young lion cub who is accidentally shipped from the New York Zoo to the wilds of Africa. With the help of his friends, a goofy group of animals, Ryan must find a way back to New York before his family discovers he is missing.
The story begins in the New York Zoo where Ryan, a young lion cub, is living with his family. Ryan is eager to explore the world outside the zoo, but his father, Samson, insists that he stay in the safety of the zoo. When Samson leaves on a business trip, Ryan takes the opportunity to escape the zoo and explore the city. While wandering the streets of New York, Ryan is accidentally shipped to Africa in a crate of supplies.
