Synopsis – What to Expect from “Darkman II: The Return of Durant”
Darkman II: The Return of Durant is a 1995 superhero action-adventure film, a sequel to the 1990 film Darkman. The film stars Arnold Vosloo, Jeff Fahey, and Kim Delaney.
The film follows Dr. Peyton Westlake (Vosloo), a scientist who was left disfigured after a laboratory explosion. However, Westlake was able to survive the accident and emerged with the ability to generate synthetic skin. With a new identity, he sets out to avenge the death of his beloved, Julie (Delaney).
Meanwhile, a ruthless businessman, Robert G. Durant (Fahey), is released from prison after serving a sentence for his crimes. He sets out to regain his former power and wealth, and seeks revenge on those who put him behind bars.
Westlake discovers that Durant is targeting Julie’s sister, and sets out to protect her. He enlists the help of his friend, Dr. Bridget Thorne (Carradine), to help him create a new synthetic skin. With his new identity, Westlake confronts Durant and his henchmen.
The two battle it out in a series of thrilling action sequences, with Westlake ultimately emerging victorious. In the end, Westlake is able to restore order and justice to the city.
