Synopsis – What to Expect from “Return from Witch Mountain”
Return from Witch Mountain is a 1978 Disney science fiction adventure film. It stars Bette Davis, Christopher Lee, and Ike Eisenmann.
The movie begins with two orphaned siblings, Tony (Eisenmann) and Tia (Kim Richards) arriving in Los Angeles. They have supernatural powers, granted to them by their alien parents. They are immediately taken in by a kind-hearted cab driver, Jack (Eddie Albert).
Jack soon discovers that Tony and Tia are being pursued by a sinister group of scientists led by Dr. Victor Gannon (Lee). Gannon is searching for the children in order to use their powers to his own evil ends.
Jack and his friend, Dr. David Miller (Donald Pleasence) help Tony and Tia hide from Gannon and his henchmen. The children use their powers to evade capture and help Jack and Dr. Miller in their efforts to protect them.
Meanwhile, Gannon has recruited the help of the sinister witch, Letha (Bette Davis), to help him in his quest. She uses her magical powers to try and locate the children, but is unsuccessful.
The group eventually makes their way to Witch Mountain, where they discover that Tony and Tia’s parents are still alive. They are able to use their powers to help the aliens, and eventually defeat Gannon and his forces.
The movie ends with Tony and Tia returning to Earth, safe
