Synopsis/Plot
Hot Shots! Part Deux is a 1993 American spoof comedy film directed by Jim Abrahams and starring Charlie Sheen, Lloyd Bridges, Valeria Golino, Richard Crenna, Brenda Bakke, Miguel Ferrer, Rowan Atkinson and Jerry Haleva. It is a sequel to the 1991 film Hot Shots!.
The film follows the bumbling Lt. Topper Harley (Sheen), who is called out of retirement to rescue a group of American prisoners of war in Iraq. Topper is sent on a mission to Iraq to rescue a group of POWs who have been held captive by the Iraqi Army. Along the way, he teams up with a rag-tag group of misfits, including his old friend Ramada (Golino), and together they battle their way through a series of outrageous obstacles to complete the mission.
The movie is filled with slapstick comedy and outrageous parodies of action films from the era, including Rambo: First Blood Part II, the Dirty Dozen, and The Guns of Navarone. Along with its over-the-top action sequences, the movie also features a number of memorable moments of physical comedy, such as Topper’s battle with a giant rubber
