Synopsis/Plot
Demolition Man is a 1993 American science fiction action film directed by Marco Brambilla and starring Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, and Benjamin Bratt. The movie follows John Spartan (Stallone), a police officer framed for a crime he didn’t commit, who is cryogenically frozen and released into a future San Angeles, where crime has been eliminated and replaced by a pacifistic police force.
Spartan is tasked with apprehending Simon Phoenix (Snipes), a criminal from the past who is now wreaking havoc in the future. In order to do this, he is partnered with Lenina Huxley (Bullock), a rookie cop who is unfamiliar with the ways of the past. The two must work together to bring down Phoenix and his gang of criminals, while also trying to adjust to the new world they find themselves in.
