Synopsis/Plot
Renegades is a 2017 action-thriller film directed by Steven Quale and starring J. K. Simmons, Sullivan Stapleton, and Ewen Bremner. The film follows a team of Navy SEALs on a mission to uncover a hidden treasure in a lake in war-torn Europe.
The team, led by Lieutenant A.K. Waters (J.K. Simmons), is tasked with entering a hostile region in the Balkans to locate a sunken Nazi treasure. With the help of a local guide, the team must traverse the treacherous terrain while avoiding detection from the local militia. As they search for the hidden treasure, they come across a group of renegades who are determined to keep the treasure for themselves.
The team must fight off the renegades and make their way to the lake where the treasure is located. Along the way, they encounter a variety of obstacles, including a treacherous mountain pass, a minefield, and a deadly ambush. With the help of their local guide, they eventually make it to the lake and discover the treasure.
