Synopsis/Plot
The Thing About Harry is a romantic comedy-drama that follows the story of two high school enemies, Sam and Harry, who find themselves on a road trip together. When Sam discovers that Harry is gay, he is forced to confront his own feelings for his former rival. Along the way, the two come to understand each other and find common ground as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of teenage life.
The movie follows Sam, a high school senior, who is struggling to figure out his place in the world. He’s had a crush on his long-time friend, Abbey, for years but has never had the courage to act on it. When he learns that his long-time rival, Harry, is gay, Sam is forced to confront his own feelings for his former enemy. With the help of his two best friends, Nick and Jo, Sam and Harry embark on a road trip to discover themselves and each other.
As the road trip progresses, Sam and Harry slowly start to bond and come to understand each other. They learn that they have more in common than they thought and discover that they both share a love for music. Along the way, they also confront the realities of being gay
