Synopsis/Plot
Naked is a 1993 British black comedy film written and directed by Mike Leigh. It stars David Thewlis as Johnny, a philosophical drifter who wanders the streets of London. Johnny is a man whose life has been marked by tragedy and disappointment. He is a man who is searching for meaning and redemption, yet is unable to find it.
The film follows Johnny’s journey in the city as he interacts with a variety of characters, including a homeless couple, an old man, a young couple, a prostitute, and a group of friends. Through these interactions, Johnny begins to realize that he is not alone in his struggles and that there are people in the world who care about him.
