Synopsis/Plot
Monster High: Welcome to Monster High is a 2016 animated direct-to-video movie produced by Mattel and Universal Pictures. It is the first movie in the Monster High franchise.
The movie follows the story of the teenage monsters attending Monster High, a high school for monsters. The movie introduces the main characters of the franchise, including Frankie Stein, Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Lagoona Blue, Cleo de Nile, Ghoulia Yelps, and Deuce Gorgon. The movie follows the monsters as they get to know each other and become friends, while also learning to accept their differences.
The movie also introduces a new character, Abbey Bominable, a yeti who is having difficulty adjusting to life at Monster High. With the help of her new friends, Abbey learns to accept her unique identity and embrace her inner monster.
