Synopsis/Plot
Monster High: Ghouls Rule is a 2012 direct-to-DVD computer-animated comedy horror film based on the Monster High franchise. The film follows the adventures of the teenage monster characters as they face off against an ancient curse that has been unleashed on the town of Salem.
The story begins when the teenage monsters of Monster High, led by Frankie Stein, discover that their school is being threatened by a centuries-old curse. The curse was cast by a group of witches, led by Headmistress Bloodgood, who were banished from Salem centuries ago. When the curse is unleashed, it causes the monsters to become the target of prejudice and hatred from the human residents of Salem.
In order to save their school, the monsters must team up with the witches to break the curse. With the help of the magical creatures of the town, they must find a way to restore the balance between the human and monster worlds. Along the way, they will discover the importance of friendship and loyalty, and learn the power of standing up for what is right.
The film features the voice talents of Debi Derryberry, Salli Saffioti, Audu Paden, and Cindy Robinson, among others.
