Synopsis/Plot
Dust Devil is a 1992 horror film directed by Richard Stanley and written by Stanley and William T. Vollmann. It stars Robert Burke as a mysterious drifter, named The Dust Devil, who wanders the deserts of Namibia, committing gruesome murders.
The Dust Devil’s victims are mostly women, and his methods are brutal and gruesome. He is a supernatural being, and is able to possess the bodies of his victims and use their own strengths against them. He is also able to travel through time and space, and appears to be on an eternal quest for knowledge and power.
The film follows a local police officer, Ben Mukurob, who is investigating a series of murders in the area. He soon discovers that the killer is the Dust Devil, and that he is connected to the spirit world. Ben is determined to stop the Dust Devil, and he teams up with a mysterious woman, Beatrice, who has a history with the killer. Together, they must travel through the desert and confront the Dust Devil in order to save the lives of the innocent.
