Synopsis – What to Expect from “See Spot Run”
See Spot Run is a 2001 family comedy film directed by John Whitesell and starring David Arquette, Michael Clarke Duncan, Leslie Bibb and Angus T. Jones.
The movie follows the story of Gordon Smith (David Arquette), an irresponsible mailman who is not very good at his job. His life changes when he meets a friendly and lovable bulldog named Spot. When Spot’s owner, a mob boss, is forced to go into hiding, he entrusts Gordon with looking after Spot.
Gordon soon finds himself in way over his head as Spot is targeted by the mob boss’ enemies who believe that Spot can lead them to his owner. With the help of his neighbor, Angela (Leslie Bibb), and her son, James (Angus T. Jones), Gordon must protect Spot and keep him out of the wrong hands.
As Gordon and his new friends try to keep Spot safe, they find themselves on a wild adventure full of hijinks and danger. Along the way, Gordon learns to be a responsible adult and discovers the joys of fatherhood. He also learns the importance of putting others before himself and of being brave in the face of danger.
In the end, Gordon and Spot must face off against the mob boss’ enemies and come out on top. With the help of his newfound family, Gordon learns to be a hero and discovers the true meaning of friendship.
