Synopsis/Plot

Fortress is a science fiction action-adventure film released in 1992. Directed by Stuart Gordon and starring Christopher Lambert, Kurtwood Smith, and Loryn Locklin, Fortress follows John Brennick (Lambert), an ex-soldier who is framed for a crime and sent to a maximum security prison in the future.

In the future, the United States has become a totalitarian state, and Brennick is sent to a remote prison run by a sadistic warden (Smith). The prison is filled with violent criminals, and Brennick must battle his way to freedom. He is aided by a fellow inmate (Locklin) and a group of rebels who are plotting to overthrow the government.
