Synopsis/Plot
You Got Served is a dance drama released in 2004. It follows the story of two street-dancing crews, led by Elgin and David, who are competing for a major cash prize in an underground dance competition. Elgin and David’s crews, the “Served Fresh” and the “Quest Crew”, are pitted against each other in a series of dance-offs, and the winner will walk away with the grand prize. As the competition intensifies, Elgin and David must battle their own personal issues, as well as their rivalry, in order to win the competition.
The movie features a talented cast of dancers, including Marques Houston, Omarion Grandberry, Jennifer Freeman, and Lil’ Kim. The choreography is spectacular, and the soundtrack is composed of hip-hop and R&B songs. The movie also features cameos from popular artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, and B2K.
