Synopsis – What to Expect from “YellowBrickRoad”
YellowBrickRoad is a psychological horror film released in 2010. The movie follows a group of people who set out to discover what happened to the residents of a small New Hampshire town who disappeared in 1940.
The movie starts off with a group of researchers, led by Professor Alan Bensington, who are investigating the disappearance of the people from the town of Friar. After finding an old newspaper article about the incident, they decide to make a journey to the town and find out what happened.
Once in Friar, the group discovers that the town has been abandoned for 70 years and the only thing left behind is a strange yellow brick road. Following the road, they come across an old theater, where they find a film reel that tells the story of what happened to the people of Friar.
The movie reveals that the townspeople had all followed the yellow brick road to the top of a nearby mountain. Once there, they found an abandoned village, which seemed to be haunted by the ghosts of the former inhabitants. As they explored the village, the townspeople started to experience strange and terrifying visions.
Eventually, the visions got so bad that the townspeople all started to go insane. Some of them committed suicide, while others were driven to madness and eventually died. The movie ends with the group of researchers realizing that the townspeople had all followed the yellow brick road in search of a better life, only to find death and
