Synopsis – What to Expect from “Wounds”
Wounds is a psychological horror movie released in 2019. It follows the story of Will, a bartender in New Orleans, who finds a mysterious cellphone in his bar one night. After Will brings the phone home, strange and disturbing messages start appearing on it, and he soon becomes obsessed with the phone and the person who sent the messages.
The messages lead Will to investigate the disappearance of a young girl named Alicia, and his investigation takes him to a strange and dangerous underworld of voodoo rituals, dark secrets, and supernatural forces. As Will digs deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the phone is connected to a dark, ancient power that threatens to consume him.
As Will is drawn further into this terrifying world, he must confront his own inner demons and face the consequences of his actions. His journey leads him to a confrontation with a powerful and mysterious figure known only as the ‘Man in the Mask’, who may be connected to Alicia’s disappearance.
The movie follows Will as he navigates this dark and dangerous underworld, and ultimately discovers the truth behind Alicia’s disappearance. Along the way, he must confront his own fears and confront the forces of evil that threaten to consume him. In the end, Will must decide whether to embrace the darkness or face his fears and come out on top.
