Synopsis – What to Expect from “Worry Dolls”
‘Worry Dolls’ is a 2016 horror thriller about two female detectives who are on the hunt for a serial killer in a small town in Maine.
The story follows Detectives Maggie and Kate, who are sent to the small town of Havenwood to investigate the mysterious disappearance of several young women. When they arrive, they discover that the town has been plagued by a series of gruesome murders, all of which have been attributed to a serial killer known as the Worry Doll Killer.
The detectives soon realize that the killer is targeting young women with a particular set of characteristics, all of whom have been found with small dolls placed next to their bodies. After further investigation, the detectives discover that the dolls are a symbol of a centuries-old curse that has been passed down through generations of the town’s inhabitants.
As they dig deeper into the mystery, Maggie and Kate uncover a dark and sinister conspiracy that has been hidden for centuries. With the help of a local historian, they uncover the truth behind the curse and the killer’s motives.
The detectives must race against time to stop the killer before more innocent lives are taken. Along the way, they must confront their own fears and doubts as they battle the forces of darkness that have been unleashed upon the town.
