Synopsis/Plot
Wild Things is a 1998 American crime thriller film directed by John McNaughton and starring Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell, Kevin Bacon, Denise Richards, and Bill Murray. The film follows two high school guidance counselors, Sam Lombardo (Dillon) and Suzie Toller (Campbell), who are accused of rape by two female students, Kelly Van Ryan (Richards) and Suzie’s niece, Julie (theresa Russell). Sam and Suzie are both arrested and charged with the crime.
The story takes several unexpected turns as it is revealed that Kelly and Julie are actually working together to extort money from Sam. It turns out that Kelly’s wealthy father was having an affair with Suzie and Kelly is trying to get revenge. As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Sam and Suzie were actually innocent of the crime and that they had been set up by Kelly and Julie.
The film features a number of twists and turns as the characters attempt to outwit each other. It also includes a number of steamy scenes between the two female leads. Wild Things is a gripping and suspenseful thriller that will keep viewers guessing until the very end.
