Synopsis/Plot
White Noise is a 2005 psychological horror film directed by Geoffrey Sax and starring Michael Keaton. The story follows a man named Jonathan Rivers (Keaton) who is struggling to cope with the sudden death of his wife, Anna, in a car accident. Jonathan’s grief soon turns to obsession when he discovers that Anna has been communicating with him through electronic devices. He begins to investigate the phenomenon of Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) and discovers that the voices he is hearing are not from the living, but from the dead.
Jonathan soon finds himself in a race against time as he attempts to uncover the truth behind the mysterious voices and save himself from the dark forces that are trying to take over his life. He is aidedin his quest by a paranormal investigator named Raymond Price (Ian McNeice), who helps Jonathan to uncover the truth and protect himself from the supernatural forces at work. As Jonathan delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the voices he is hearing are not just from the dead, but from the living as well. He must uncover the truth behind the voices before they consume him and drive him to the brink of insanity.
