Synopsis/Plot
Whisper is a 2007 thriller directed by Stewart Hendler and starring Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Blake Woodruff, and Michael Rooker. It follows the story of a young man named David (Holloway) who is desperate to find his missing daughter. After an exhaustive search, he discovers that she has been kidnapped by a mysterious cult and is being held in an underground bunker.
David infiltrates the bunker with the help of an old friend and learns that the cult is led by a man known as “The Preacher” (Rooker), who is using his followers to create a powerful drug called Whisper. The drug has the power to control people’s thoughts and emotions, and the cult plans to use it to create a new world order.
David and his friend must find a way to rescue his daughter and stop the cult before it’s too late. Along the way, they discover the truth about Whisper and the Preacher’s sinister plans.
