Synopsis – What to Expect from “Warlords of the 21st Century”
Warlords of the 21st Century is a 1982 post-apocalyptic science fiction action film directed by Cirio H. Santiago.
The film is set in the year 2083, after a devastating nuclear war has destroyed most of the world. The remaining survivors have formed into warring factions, each trying to gain control of the world’s remaining resources.
The main character, Tom (played by Richard Norton), is a former soldier who is now a mercenary for hire. He is hired by the leader of one of the warring factions, a woman named Lady Krell (played by Sybil Danning), to help her gain control of the world.
Tom leads a small group of mercenaries into battle against the other warring factions, using his military skills and cunning to gain an advantage. Along the way, he meets a mysterious woman named Sarah (played by Marla Heasley) who claims to be from the future. She tells him of a powerful weapon that could turn the tide of the war, and he sets out to find it.
Tom and his team must battle their way through a series of dangerous encounters as they search for the weapon. Along the way, they meet a variety of characters, including a ruthless warlord and a mysterious cult of warriors.
