Synopsis/Plot
War Horse is an epic adventure set against the sweeping canvas of World War I. It tells the story of a young horse named Joey, and his young owner Albert, who forge an unbreakable bond when they are forced to part ways. When Albert’s beloved horse is sold to the cavalry, he embarks on an extraordinary journey to bring him back. The story follows Joey from the English countryside to the battlefields of France, where he soon finds himself in the middle of the war. Along the way, Joey meets a series of remarkable characters, and with each new encounter, his courage is tested. As the war rages on, Albert and Joey must find a way to reunite, and ultimately, to find peace. War Horse is a sweeping and powerful story of loyalty, courage, and friendship, set against the backdrop of a world at war.
