Synopsis – What to Expect from “War-Gods of the Deep”
War-Gods of the Deep is a 1965 science fiction adventure film directed by Jacques Tourneur and starring Vincent Price and Tab Hunter.
The story takes place in the 19th century, when a group of adventurers led by Professor Harrington (Vincent Price) set sail to explore the depths of the sea. Accompanying him are his daughter, Jennifer (Tab Hunter), her fiancé, and a motley crew of sailors.
The voyage takes a strange turn when the group discovers a mysterious underwater city populated by primitive, fish-like creatures. The creatures are ruled by an evil queen, Morgan Le Fay (Susan Hart), who has enslaved the creatures with her magical powers.
The adventurers soon find themselves in a battle against Morgan Le Fay and her minions. With the help of an ancient amulet, they must find a way to free the creatures from her control and restore peace to the underwater city.
The group must also contend with a giant sea monster, a giant octopus, and a giant shark, all of which serve as obstacles in their quest.
In the end, the adventurers must use their wits and courage to battle the evil queen and save the underwater city. Along the way, they will discover the secrets of the War-Gods of the Deep and discover the truth about the mysterious city.
