Synopsis/Plot
Village of the Damned is a 1995 science fiction horror film directed by John Carpenter and based on the 1960 film of the same name. The film stars Christopher Reeve, Kirstie Alley, Linda Kozlowski, Mark Hamill, and Michael Pare.
The story follows a small rural town in California called Midwich that is suddenly put under a mysterious sleeping spell. When the townspeople wake up, they discover that all the women in town are pregnant, and soon after, the children are born. The children possess strange powers, including the ability to control people’s minds and to make objects move without touching them.
The children quickly become a threat to the town and the government steps in to investigate. It is soon discovered that the children are actually aliens, and they are planning to take over the world. The government must find a way to stop the alien children before it is too late.
