Synopsis – What to Expect from “Vampyres”
Vampyres is a 1974 British horror film directed by José Ramón Larraz. It stars Marianne Morris and Anulka as two beautiful female vampires who live in an old castle. They seduce and prey upon unsuspecting motorists who happen to be passing by.
The story begins with the two vampires, Fran and Miriam, living in their castle home. They are seen feeding on unsuspecting victims, draining their blood and leaving them for dead.
Meanwhile, a young couple, John and Harriet, are on their way to a nearby inn. They happen to take a wrong turn and end up near the castle. They decide to stay the night in the nearby woods and are soon attacked by Fran and Miriam. They manage to escape, but Harriet is left traumatized by the experience.
The next day, John and Harriet visit the castle and are invited inside by Fran and Miriam. They are seduced by the two vampires and are soon entranced by their beauty and charm.
John and Harriet soon realize that the pair are vampires and attempt to escape, but are unsuccessful. They are both lured into the vampires’ lair, where they are subjected to a deadly game of cat and mouse. In the end, John manages to escape, but Harriet is left behind.
John is determined to rescue Harriet and returns to the castle. He finds her in the vampires’ lair and manages to save her. In the end
