Synopsis/Plot
Vampire in Brooklyn is a 1995 horror-comedy film directed by Wes Craven and starring Eddie Murphy as the vampire, Maximillian. The film follows Maximillian, a vampire from the Caribbean, who travels to Brooklyn in search of a woman to turn into a vampire. He meets the beautiful and sassy Rita (Angela Bassett), a police officer who is determined to stop him from turning anyone else into a vampire. As Maximillian attempts to turn Rita into a vampire, she must also battle her own inner demons and fight off the other supernatural creatures that inhabit the city. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure known as the Bishop (Allen Payne) is also on the hunt for Maximillian, and his intentions are far from good.
The film is a thrilling and humorous ride as Maximillian and Rita battle the forces of evil, while also trying to figure out their own feelings for each other.
