Synopsis – What to Expect from “Upstream Color”
Upstream Color is a 2013 romantic science fiction film written, directed, produced, and edited by Shane Carruth. The film follows Kris, a woman who is unknowingly put under a powerful form of mind control by a mysterious man known only as the Thief. After being released from the Thief’s control, Kris meets Jeff, a man who is also under the Thief’s control, and the two develop a connection.
Kris is a woman living in a small town who has a chance encounter with a mysterious man known only as the Thief. The Thief takes something from her, and she soon finds herself under his powerful mind control. Kris begins to experience strange visions and has difficulty controlling her own behavior.
