Synopsis/Plot
Unthinkable is a 2010 American thriller film starring Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Sheen, and Carrie-Anne Moss. The film follows the story of an FBI interrogator (Jackson) who must race against time to prevent three nuclear bombs from being detonated in three separate US cities.
The story begins with a mysterious man, known only as “H”, who is arrested and brought in for interrogation. H is a former US citizen who has joined a radical Islamic terrorist group and has knowledge of the location of three nuclear bombs. The FBI interrogator, known as Brody, must use any means necessary to extract the information from H before the bombs are detonated.
The film follows the intense interrogation of H by Brody, as Brody uses psychological and physical tactics to get the information out of him. The stakes are raised when the government decides to bring in a mysterious third party, known as “The Dealer”, to assist in the interrogation. The Dealer is a specialist in torture and is willing to do anything to get the information out of H.
