Synopsis – What to Expect from “Unrest”
Unrest is a 2006 psychological horror film directed by Jason Todd Ipson. The film follows medical student Jennifer (Corri English), who is in the midst of a medical school rotation when she begins to experience strange and terrifying events. She begins to have visions of a young girl, and soon discovers that the girl is a ghostly presence that is haunting her.
Jennifer is determined to get to the bottom of the haunting, and begins to investigate the girl’s mysterious death. Her investigation leads her to an old medical school building that houses a secret laboratory. Here, she discovers that the girl was a part of a medical experiment gone wrong. She also discovers that the experiment was conducted by her own professor, who is now trying to cover up the truth.
With the help of her friend, Jennifer begins to unravel the mystery behind the experiment and the ghostly presence. As she gets closer to the truth, she finds herself in a race against time to save the girl’s soul from an eternal damnation. With the help of her friends, Jennifer must battle the forces of evil to save the girl’s soul and prevent a tragedy from occurring.
