Synopsis – What to Expect from “Undercover Brother”
Undercover Brother is a 2002 American action comedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee and starring Eddie Griffin. The plot follows a secret agent known as “Undercover Brother” (Griffin) who is recruited by a secret organization known as The Brotherhood to stop a powerful white villain known as “The Man” (Chris Kattan).
The film opens with Undercover Brother (Griffin) working as a janitor at a fast food restaurant. He is approached by The Chief (Billy Dee Williams) of the Brotherhood, a secret organization dedicated to fighting oppression. The Chief recruits Undercover Brother to go undercover and infiltrate the evil organization known as the “Conspiracy”, led by “The Man” (Kattan). The Chief’s plan is to stop the Conspiracy’s plan to brainwash the world’s population with a new product called “B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D.”
Undercover Brother goes undercover as a new employee at the Conspiracy’s headquarters and quickly rises the ranks. He meets and befriends fellow employee Sistah Girl (Aunjanue Ellis) and the two become close. Undercover Brother discovers that the Conspiracy is plotting to brainwash the world’s population with B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D. He also discovers that The Man is planning to use the brainwashed population to take over the world.
