Synopsis/Plot
Under Siege is an action-packed thriller directed by Andrew Davis and starring Steven Seagal, Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Busey, and Erika Eleniak.
Set in the Caribbean Sea, the story follows ex-Navy SEAL Casey Ryback (Seagal) as he takes a job as a cook aboard the USS Missouri, a decommissioned battleship. Little does he know that the ship is actually being used as a cover for a group of mercenaries led by Commander Krill (Jones) and his right-hand man, Commander Strannix (Busey). The mercenaries are planning to steal the ship’s nuclear arsenal and use it to blackmail the US government.
With the help of a beautiful and mysterious stowaway, Jordan Tate (Eleniak), Ryback must fight his way through the ship’s crew of heavily-armed mercenaries and disable the ship’s nuclear weapons before they can be used. In a series of explosive action sequences, Ryback uses his martial arts skills and military training to take on Krill and his men. In the end, Ryback’s courage and ingenuity help him to save the day and the nuclear weapons.
