Synopsis/Plot

Twisted is a psychological thriller film directed by Philip Kaufman and starring Ashley Judd, Samuel L. Jackson, Andy Garcia, and David Strathairn. The film follows the story of Jessica Shepard (Ashley Judd), a San Francisco police inspector who is investigating the murder of her childhood friend, Natalie (Lela Rochon). As she delves further into the case, Jessica discovers that the murder is linked to a series of other murders, all of which involve the same weapon.

The investigation leads Jessica to believe that the murderer is someone close to her and she must face her own demons in order to solve the case. As the investigation progresses, Jessica discovers that the murderer is a serial killer who is targeting women who are similar to her in age and appearance. The killer is also targeting her as his next victim.

Jessica must confront her own fears and insecurities in order to find the killer and save her own life. With the help of her partner, Mike Delmarco (Samuel L. Jackson), she is able to track down the killer and put an end to his reign of terror.

Twisted is a suspenseful and thrilling film that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
