Synopsis/Plot
Twist is a 2021 crime drama film directed by Martin Owen. The film follows the story of a young streetwise hustler named Twist (Raff Law) who is forced to confront his past when he is released from a juvenile detention center.
Twist is a talented pickpocket and thief, but after a series of misfortunes, he finds himself in a juvenile detention center. Upon release, he is determined to start a new life and leave his criminal past behind. He is welcomed back into the London underworld by his old friend Fagin (Michael Caine), a master criminal who has taken him under his wing.
Twist soon finds himself in trouble again when he is forced to help Fagin and his gang in a daring heist. The plan is to steal a valuable painting from a powerful art dealer. But as the plan unravels, Twist discovers that the painting is connected to a dark secret from his past. He is forced to confront his own demons and the consequences of his actions.
