Synopsis/Plot
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is a 1992 American horror mystery film, directed by David Lynch and co-written by Lynch and Robert Engels. It is an entry into the Twin Peaks franchise, serving as both a prequel and sequel to the television series. Set in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington, the film focuses on the investigation into the murder of Teresa Banks and the last seven days in the life of Laura Palmer, leading up to her death.
The film follows FBI Special Agent Chester Desmond (Chris Isaak) and Sam Stanley (Kiefer Sutherland) as they arrive in Twin Peaks to investigate the murder of Teresa Banks. As they investigate, they come across strange occurrences and unexplainable events that lead them to the mysterious and dangerous town of Deer Meadow, Washington. Meanwhile, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) is struggling with her inner demons and is haunted by a mysterious entity known as Bob.
The film follows the investigation into Laura’s death, as Agent Desmond and Sam Stanley uncover the dark secrets of the town and its inhabitants.
