Synopsis/Plot
Turkey Shoot is a 1982 Australian science fiction horror film directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith. It stars Steve Railsback, Olivia Hussey, Michael Craig, and Lynda Stoner.
The film takes place in the near future, where a totalitarian government has taken control of the world. People who are deemed to be dissidents or troublemakers are sent to a prison camp known as “The Colony”. The prisoners are subjected to cruel and unusual punishments, including a brutal game known as the “Turkey Shoot”.
The game involves the prisoners being hunted down by the guards and their attack dogs. The prisoners must try to survive the game and escape the camp.
The film follows the story of an American prisoner, Paul Anders (Railsback), who is sent to the camp. He meets a group of fellow prisoners and together they plan an escape. However, their plans are foiled by the sadistic Colonel Taylor (Craig), who is determined to make the prisoners suffer.
The prisoners must use their wits and courage to survive the game and escape the camp. Along the way, they must face off against the guards, their attack dogs, and the Colonel himself.
