Synopsis/Plot
Turbulence is a 1997 action thriller film starring Ray Liotta and Lauren Holly. It follows the story of Ryan Weaver, an ex-convict and former airline pilot, who is forced to take control of a commercial airliner when a group of terrorists hijack the plane. After the hijackers threaten to kill the passengers, Ryan is forced to take command of the plane and try to land it safely.
The film is set on a transcontinental flight from Los Angeles to New York. As the plane is airborne, a group of terrorists take control and threaten to kill the passengers unless their demands are met. Ryan, who was on board as a passenger, manages to get into the cockpit and take control of the plane. He is then forced to use his experience as a pilot to try and land the plane safely.
Throughout the film, Ryan is faced with numerous challenges as he attempts to land the plane. He must contend with the terrorists, as well as the turbulent weather conditions. He also has to battle his own inner demons, as he struggles to come to terms with his past.
