The film is set in Australia in the late 19th century and follows the life of Ned Kelly, an infamous outlaw who led a gang of bushrangers. The film follows the story of Ned Kelly’s life from his childhood to his eventual capture and execution.
The film begins with Ned Kelly as a young boy living in a small town in Australia. His father is an Irish immigrant and his mother is a member of the Aboriginal people. As a young boy, Ned is exposed to the harsh realities of life in the Australian outback and is drawn to a life of crime.
He is soon taken in by a bushranger named Harry Power and becomes his protege. With Harry’s guidance, Ned learns the ways of the bushranger and begins to build his own gang.
The gang quickly becomes notorious, robbing banks and other establishments throughout the region. The police and the government soon become determined to capture the gang and put an end to their criminal activities.
As the police close in, Ned and his gang become more desperate and violent. In the end, Ned is betrayed by one of his own and is eventually captured and sentenced to death.
