Synopsis/Plot
Trespass is a 2011 American crime thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman. The film follows a family whose lives are turned upside down when a group of dangerous criminals break into their home and hold them hostage.
The movie begins with a family of four, Kyle Miller (Nicolas Cage), Sarah Miller (Nicole Kidman), their daughter Avery (Liana Liberato), and their son Jonah (Cam Gigandet). The family is living a seemingly normal life in their suburban home until one night when a group of criminals, led by Elias (Ben Mendelsohn), breaks in and holds them hostage. They demand that Kyle give them a valuable diamond that he had been keeping hidden.
As the criminals search the house for the diamond, Kyle and Sarah try to figure out a way to protect their family. They are soon joined by security guard Ben (Jordi Molla), who has been sent to investigate the break-in. Together they must fight to survive and protect their family from the criminals’ demands.
