Trees of Peace is a 2021 drama set in a small town in the Midwest. The story follows two families, the Johnsons and the O’Reillys, who have been feuding for generations.
The Johnsons are a close-knit family, led by the strong-willed matriarch, Abigail Johnson. Her husband, James, is a gentle, loving father who works as a mechanic in the town. Their children, Sarah and John, are both in high school and are trying to find their place in the world.
The O’Reillys are a large, boisterous family with a long history of feuding with the Johnsons. The patriarch, Patrick O’Reilly, is a gruff, hardworking man who runs the town’s lumber mill. His sons, Sean and Michael, are both in high school and have been taught to hate the Johnsons.
When Sarah and John meet at school, they quickly become friends despite their families’ feud. As their friendship grows, they begin to see that their families aren’t so different after all. When Sarah and John’s parents find out about their friendship, they are both angry and try to put an end to it.
Sarah and John, however, refuse to give up on their friendship. With the help of their friends, they start a project to plant trees of peace in the town. The project helps to bring the two families together and they
