Synopsis/Plot
Traitor is a 2008 American action thriller film starring Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce. The film follows a former U.S. Special Forces soldier, Samir Horn (Cheadle), who is now an international arms dealer. Samir is caught in a web of intrigue and betrayal as he is pursued by a relentless FBI agent, Roy Clayton (Pearce). Samir’s true identity is revealed as he is pulled into a complex network of international terrorists and government agents.
The film takes place in several countries, including the United States, France, and Yemen. Samir is initially believed to be an international terrorist, but as the film progresses, it becomes clear that he is actually working undercover to infiltrate a terrorist network. Samir must use his skills and knowledge to uncover the truth and stop a major terrorist attack.
The cast of Traitor also includes Jeff Daniels, Neal McDonough, and Saïd Taghmaoui. The film is directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and written by Steve Martin and Nachmanoff.
